Family Breaks
Lakeview Lodge is a splendid retreat for couples and families alike, offering unobstructed vistas of the serene countryside and the nearby lake
Thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials, this delightful glamping pod promises a family getaway or a comfortable base for exploring the local treasures. Adorned with a local touch, we hope we have aspired to create a haven for our guests, epitomizing it with our motto, ‘The place where memories are made.’
Exterior automatic lighting illuminates your path from the designated parking space to the pod. The outdoor seating area, complete with a fire pit and barbecue griddle, seamlessly integrates with the pod’s interior, providing a delightful outdoor experience. Upon entering, the open-plan design fills the interior with natural light. A cosy living area features an L-shaped sofa bed that can be converted into an occasional double bed, overlooking the Smart TV—an ideal setting for a snug movie night.
A circular dining table offers a space for family meals, and the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, gas cooker, gas four hob rings, dishwasher, and microwave, ensuring you have everything you need during your stay. To the rear of the pod, a king-sized bed beckons in the bedroom area, while a separate bedroom with three single beds can be closed off for privacy, allowing the adults to savour the rest of the evening.
Lakeview Lodge boasts a stunning location overlooking the picturesque 1066 countryside. Nestled near a prominent footpath/bridleway leading to Coombe Valley Nature Reserve, it’s an ideal haven for hikers and cyclists, thanks to the nearby cycle path. Hillcroft Farm, a working arable farm spanning over 1000 acres with a variety of crops, offers panoramic views of the sprawling landscape. Gazing southward from the pods, you can observe a vast lake in the distance while relishing the sunrise and the melodies of local wildlife.

About the Area
East Sussex castles, beaches, and countryside!
East Sussex is famous for its history, coast, castles, and more. It’s one of the best places to visit in the UK for its wealth of things to do and see. Green hills and weald-land that look like landscape paintings, towns blitzed by bloody Norman battles and super-cool seaside resorts.
